Senior PDMS Piping Designer/PDMS Administrator - Excellent salary - 6 months to 1 year contract
Our client requires a Senior PDMS Piping Designer/PDMS Administrator who will report to Piping Lead on a daily basis. The ideal candidate will have Good PDMS administration skills, have the ability to interrogate PDMS model, review existing PDMS CAT's & Spec's and thereafter prepare man hour estimates for supporting the site based PDMS design effort and the input and development of missing PDMS CAT's & Spec's.
Developing PDMS strategy for implementation on site including the incorporation and management of 3rd party models
Good experience of Gas and Oil type work and preferably Onshore/Offshore High Pressure Gas processing terminals
Good recent experience of site work and in particular electronic (Laser) site surveys and inclusion of site survey data into PDMS model.
Reliable, self motivated and able to work alone, proven problem solving ability and good organisational skills.
This position will initially be for a period of about 6 months, although experience of piping design, good hands on PDMS skills and a good understanding of the relevant SHELL DEPs, national and international standards, design codes and legislation applicable to gas processing and process plant piping design would mean that the duration could be longer, possibly 12 months plus.
