Additional background in customer data Integration projects or Datawarehouse, Data store, or similar data repository experience involving data integration (ie Siebel UCM), vendor package solution experience, and managing projects in distributed type environments.
We are looking for someone who can be a content PM as well as administrative, ie they need to understand enough about the project scope/details to lead everyone is the right direction and see and understand issues/risks with approach before others.
A Bachelors Degree is preferred for this role, however candidates with the correct experience will be considered.
Bachelors degree and 15+ years progressive work related experience with demonstrated mastery of technical and business knowledge as well as understanding of multiple disciplines/processes related to the position. Typically leads/mentors less experienced staff or complex projects in area of expertise. This position is responsible for the execution of IT projects and programs that impact across the enterprise in accordance to the project approach, structure, and charter. Leads project teams and facilitates the communication and interaction amongst the functional representatives. Ensures the project plan is in support of the business and customer objectives.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reviews, approves and manages program and project approach, structure, and charter through the establishment of project requirements and planning. Leads project teams in relation to standards, methodologies, and processes to ensure efficient development and implementation of systems. Provides review, oversight approval and management of program and project tasks and dependencies. Influences and negotiates with Senior Management and Vendors to ensure support for the project plan and resources. Tracks program against its schedule, budget and against phase review objectives and report status to management. Organizes and manages internal and external resources required to support and execute the project. Complete appropriate forms/discussions addressing performance and development goals for all employees assigned to each project to give effective, meaningful feedback.
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:
Demonstrated management experience managing IT programs and projects that impact across the enterprise. Demonstrated understanding of the full life cycle technical project management and business analysis. Demonstrated understanding of the groups systems, technical capabilities, limitations and business processes. Demonstrated functional expertise of system interdependencies and their impact across EIS. Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills for the purpose of providing and explaining technical and project related information to Sr. Management, staff, and vendors.
