SOA Technical Solutions Development

The Information Management and Service Oriented Architecture department of the Care Delivery BIO is seeking a highly experienced, motivated and goal-driven high level developer. This individual will be part of a technically diverse Solution Design and Delivery team.

Essential Functions:
Web Service and Integration Solutions design, coding, testing, debugging, documentation, and installation tasks in accordance with industry best practices and specific internal procedures and standards.
Contributes to development and directs task identification, work effort estimates, and work schedules for development and maintenance activities.
Participates in and directs problem definition and problem resolution activities.
Participates and directs the analysis and definition of efficient, cost effective application solutions which support client business processes and functional requirements.
Coordinates with internal departments to provide associated deliverables required for the successful completion of development and maintenance assignments (eg, Middleware Integration, Securiity, etc.)
Conducts client interviews in order to perform analysis of client business processes and functional requirements and prepares appropriate documentation to communicate and validate the information.
May participate in client committees and may coordinate client involvement in development and maintenance tasks as needed.
May prepare and conduct presentations of various work products. May train other staff and may review the technical work of other staff.
Completes administrative requirements in an accurate and timely manner (eg, project plans, status reporting, etc.).

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
Minimum of 6 years of experience with Requirements Gathering, Communication, Team Work, Work Estimating, Customer Service, and Project Management.
Minimum of 10 years of Developer skills includes Cache, Microsoft .NET, Epic APIs, VMWare, Unix Shell, Business Intelligence, HL7 Interfaces.
Software Engineering and Architecture experience with Electronic Medical Records and Systems Integration.
Significant experience in all phases of applications software development/maintenance life cycles in a large Mainframe and a Client Server environment.
Demonstrate excellence in technical skills and technical knowledge required 3 years .NET, languages respective to various Mainframe or Client Server programming development environments as well as experience with C#.
Strong skills required in critical thinking and analysis, verbal and written communications, and interpersonal interactions (eg, partnering, conflict management, consulting, etc.).
Leadership skills and experience is required.
Understanding of health care business and care delivery systems integration and processes including, Document Management, Reporting, Radiology, Call Centers.
Ability to define, estimate and track assignments across teams.

Preferred Qualifications:
Epic, HealthConnect, SIX Sigma and ITIL.
Developer skills includes Service Oriented Architecture, Caliber, StarTeam, and Epic Cache/Chronicles.
Software Engineering and Architecture experience with Systems Integration, TelePresence, TeleMedicine.
Demonstrate excellence in technical skills and technical knowledge required in CACHE.
