Job Purpose:
  • Investigate and analyse business problems or opportunities which contribute to improvements in business processes, policies and information systems
  • Model  the current and future processes, which form the basis for process redesign and improvements        
  • Recommend solutions that enable the organisation to achieve the targeted business outcomes and deliver business value
  • Liaise with stakeholders/customers to elicit, prioritise, validate and document requirements, which form the basis of change to business processes, policies or systems
 Key Accountabilities:
  • Analyse and identify improvements to processes and/or systems to meet the needs of the customer and business
  • Recommend and justify the solution using both subjective and objective data
  • Collaborate with business partners, technology groups, suppliers and customer groups to elicit, analyse, prioritise, validate, document and communicate business requirements
  • Develop detailed Business Process Specifications, Business Requirements and System Functional/Non Functional Specifications
  • Prepare business impact and risk assessments for the proposed change and/or recommended business solution
  • Contribute to business case preparation, specifically analysis of benefits of proposed solution to deliver desired business outcome and associated project costs
  • Contribute to definition of Benefits Realisation Plan
  • Plan, estimate and report on Business Analysis activities.
  • Support Testing, Training and Implementation activities to ensure the successful delivery of the overall business and technology solutions.
Experience:
  • Business Analyst lead in business process improvement initiatives
  • Experience working on superannuation and or HR related projects
  • Experience in major end-to-end business process re-engineering or business transformation initiatives
  • Experience in major Information Technology delivery projects ensuring solution enables business processes
  • Business Process Improvement/Re-engineering, Data Analysis, System Functional & Non Functional Analysis experience
