We are recruiting a Deployment Lead to join the team on a large Supply Chain and Finance transformation, known as the Integrated Technology Solution or ITS Project, at Plexxus and our 12 member hospitals. This high profile role will focus on the implementation of the SAP-based ITS solution into Hospitals and Plexxus once the other project teams have fully tested the solution. It will provide the successful candidate with valuable skills and experience as well as the opportunity to shape the future of healthcare in southern Ontario.

Accountabilities:
  • Plan, organize, direct and control the process, people, and technology activities related to the deployment of the SAP-based ITS Solution into the hospitals and Plexxus, from final preparation to post-implementation support transition
  • Ensure that all deployment related deliverables are completed to meet the project's objectives and user requirements
  • Plan and direct all aspects of the deployment including planning, scheduling, resourcing, risk assessment, cost/benefit analyses, establishing milestones, and deliverables
  • Manage multiple, parallel streams of rollout activity across Plexxus and the member hospitals, and liaise with hospital and Plexxus project staff members
  • Conduct regular project reviews to effectively manage deliverables
  • Work in collaboration with the Change Management Team Lead to anticipate and mitigate risks related to the ITS change impacts
  • Act as primary contact point for ITS solution go-live and roll-out in order to facilitate efficient communications and pro-active problem identification and resolution
  • Ensure all stakeholder groups are provided with timely and accurate project information
  • Provide support and mentoring to deployment team members
  • Provide leadership in promoting, identifying, recommending and implementing improvements to processes within the scope of the project
  • Track, monitor, and communicate deployment progress against the project plan, requirements, quality measures, standard processes, and milestones. Ensure timely delivery of regular project status updates to the PMO
  • Prepare presentations to IT Management and IT Steering Committee as required
  • Travel within our member hospitals as required
Qualifications:
  • 5-7 years experience in a leadership role on a full life cycle ERP implementation (SAP preferred)
  • Experience working in the hospital or broader public sector preferred
  • Experience producing deployment-related project deliverables (implementation plans, backout plans, etc.), preferably in a multi-site rollout environment
  • Demonstrated project management skills, including planning, budgeting, and estimating
  • Experience with supply chain and/or finance transformation preferred
  • Strong facilitation and team leadership skills
  • Strong knowledge of MS Project, Visio and MS Office
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills including report writing and presentations
  • Strong consulting, analytical and problem solving skills
Education:
  • University degree in a relevant field preferred
  • PMP an asset
