Sr. SSIS/SharePoint Application Developer
Our large Energy client is looking for a Sr. SSIS/SharePoint Application Developer for a support role in Charlotte, NC. The IT HR Applications Support group provides IT support for the HR systems and software used throughout Energy client. This position is part of the IT HR Applications Support Team and will be responsible for providing some application development and support for the existing HR systems. This Production Support role includes: vendor software implementation and support, development and execution of test plans, scripts, and procedures. Also, position includes training and support of system users, troubleshooting and resolution of operational problems and issues; analysis and documentation of business requirements and software program design and development. Periodic on-call support (24 x 7).
3-5 years of experience is required by client.
Qualifications:
Experience in SQL Server Integration Services, SharePoint, Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related technical field. Minimum of five years' experience in application support and development, thorough knowledge of application development life cycle, including programming experience. Strong oral and written communication skills, strong team player that works well with others. Experience in supporting end users with use of technology and applications. Experience in troubleshooting IT application problems. Is able to resolve complex issues that require significant freedom of action and sound judgment with little management oversight; is able to present information on technically complex subjects in an understandable manner in both oral and written form to senior management and any other necessary audience and experience in supporting vendor applications and configuration. Experience in managing and performing production installations and bundled releases, and experience in technical lead role. Desired: Experience with Learning Management Systems, Time Entry Applications, or other HR related applications; experience with Web Services and experience with Java.
