Job Title: Senior Project Engineering Manager - Contract
Salary: Negotiable
Location: Heysham, Lancashire
JOB SPECIFICATION:
The successful individual will be accountable to the Senior Project Manager and will ensure Delivery of Engineering Designs to safety, quality, cost and time parameters including the management of Discipline Engineering resources.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Liaison with Business Unit Operations Manager and Senior Project Manager
- Development of designs and Man hour estimates for Engineering work
- Liaison with Client and Company divisions remote engineering and design functions
- Leadership and Management of Engineering personnel based at Client's office
- Management of Multi -discipline Engineering coordination
- Establish project Set Ups, Budgets, WBS, Schedules and robust monitoring and control
- Communication of project information to Engineering teams and Management.
- Support and development of resources
- Integration of Safety and Quality into designs
- Adherence to Client/Corporate/and Regulatory Procedures and Standards
- Delivery of Engineering Designs within Project Budgets
- Development and delivery of Multi Discipline Engineering schedules
- Leadership of Change Control processes and procedures
- Management and Mitigation of project risks
- Provision of support to construction teams
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
The successful candidate should ideally possess the following:-
- An appropriate engineering degree
- A substantial period of experience in project engineering within a design office
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Onshore and Offshore Experience.
