Title: Website Maintenance Coordinator
Location: San Jose, CA
Duration: 12+ months with renewable per quarter
Immediate need for a Website Maintenance Coordinator with the following skills:
- To ensure that all maintenance requests submitted to edit the companys website are compliant with companys guidelines as well as perform load balancing with the volume of work going each of the teams developers.
- Escalating any problems appropriately to the Website Maintenance Manager.
- Assigning, scheduling; planning; monitoring, and reviewing job contributions; enforcing policies and procedures.
- Ensure the Maintenance Request Console (MARCO) is operational and new cases are entering the queue
- Communicate with clients to clarify the specific details of any ambiguities in the request.
- Monitoring that Service Level Agreements are met. That client feedback is positive, and to follow up on the source of negative feedback
- Proactively follow up on any perceived problem that users experience using companys website
- Coordination of the broken link elimination effort.
- Create weekly reports of maintenance activity and broken links repaired
- Consult with Website Maintenance Manager on open issues, unusual requests or strategies to resolve problems.
Skills/Qualifications:
- 3+ years Web Project Management experience
- Project Management, Process Improvement, Planning, Performance Management
- Experienced with adhering to a Corporate Style Guide
- Understand the capabilities of what can be done with web 2.0 standard tools
- Experience communicating and interacting with an offshore (India) team of developers
- Proficient in all applications in the Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
- Experience with SharePoint Administration required.
- The ability to multitask in a fast paced environment is essential
- Business Objects experience is a bonus.
- Basic HTML development experience desirable
- College degree is desirable
