Software DeveloperOur Client is seeking a Software Developer for 6 month contract position with a possible 6 month extension in Fort Mill, NC. The Client is seeking a Software Developer (intermediate level) to help in the conversion of the System Security Administration Database from the current SQL 2000 to SQL 2008 platform. The Software Developer will help to identify processes that interact with the current SQL2000 DB and modify such process/applications from the use of DTS packages to SSIS packages as supported by SQL2008, help define and develop the Admin screens to support SSA and User functions and will develop and modify applications for the SSA. The Software Developer will interact with the customer including developing designs from existing business requirements, coding, testing and implementation.
REQUIRED: He/she must have a BS in Computer Science or equivalent, 2-6 year’s experience in data processing, 8-10 years of experience in Applications development, 5 + years in ASP.NET development experience with C# and Object Oriented Programming, MS SQL server 2000 and 2008 database programming and integration programming with SSIS and experience with ORM and Domain Driven Design (optional). The client would prefer the candidate have experience with Visual Web GUI and NHibernate a definite plus, self-starter and independent worker, but effective in a team environment and willing to travel to other sites.
The incumbent must have a minimum of 8 plus years of development experience (Agile experience is a plus) in custom software development and relational database applications development. A technical degree is highly preferred and applications development experience must include ASP.NET or other .NET, as well as MS SQL Server (2000, 2005, and 2008). The Software Developer must have experience experience converting DTS to SSIS packages and additionally, C#, Object Oriented Programming, Webapp, WinForms, AJAX are highly desirable.
PREFERRED: The Client would like the Software Developer to have an understanding of different design patterns, Object relational mapping and Spring.net framework. The Client would prefer someone that has experience in HealthCare.
