Description
Our client is seeking one Senior Biztalk Developers (one for Richmond, VA who will be responsible for developing and maintaining SOA integrations using Microsoft BizTalk Server. This is a contract position and the successful candidate(s) will be member(s) of a development team delivering integrations between new and existing systems. The candidates should have in-depth knowledge of the BizTalk and a variety of integration protocols, patterns, adapters and techniques.Responsibilities to include but are not limited to:
* Working with Business Analysts and Project Managers to fully define the requirements of all integrations.
* Working with Systems Architects and source and target teams to design all integrations.
* Development of new integrations using best practices.
* Working with Test Management team to ensure adequate testing of application.
* Working with Release Management team to plan and execute deployments
* Developing deployment and backout plans.
* Performing maintenance and enhancement coding changes to configuration, integrations, and build as required to support and improve product.
* Managing TFS source control system and code branches.
* Resolving issues identified in testing.
Required Technical Skills:
* 4 - 6 years of experience Microsoft BizTalk Server 2006 R2/2009 experience.
* Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0/3.5 Development, ASP.NET, C# required.
* Working knowledge of Dynamics CRM, SharePoint, SQL Server, XHTML, HTTP, XML, XSLT, Scripting languages and UML preferred.
* Full understanding of the SDLC.
* Proven ability to resolve issues identified in testing.
* Experience using source control systems such as TFS required.
* Experience with using testing tools and techniques, including stub testing.
* 5- 10+ years of relevant general Information Technology experience required or experience configuring insurance applications.
* Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
Preferred Technical Skills:
* Automated build knowledge preferred.
* Insurance experience desired.
Required Soft Skills:
* Excellent oral and written communication skills.
* Demonstrated problem solving skills.
Education:
Advanced college degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Business or related work experience/certification.
Candidates must be U.S. citizen or Green card holder.
