Description
Our client has an opportunity for an experienced Mid .NET Web Developer to join their team.The main duties will involve the following (but not limited to):
- Ensure the requirements are adequate
- Develop solutions to meet business requirements using the team's development process.
- Estimate the effort and risk associated with solutions to meet the requirements of the business.
- Develop appropriate technical and operational documentation as required.
- Undertake thorough testing of all solutions prior to release into production.
- Minimise the cost of maintenance associated with developed solutions.
- Propose and make improvements to processes and practices and conventions use by the development team.
Skills required for the role include: (but not limited to):
- Degree in Electrical and Computer Systems Engineering, Computer Science, IT Systems or equivalent.
- 3+ years of experience developing in ASP.NET, C#
- Experience with Agile or XP development methodologies, including Test Driven Development
- Experience with HTML, CSS and Javascript
- Strong knowledge of the Internet and its related technologies, eg. TCP/IP, WWW, FTP, Telnet etc
- Excellent analytical and trouble-shooting skills.
- A thorough approach to work, emphasising attention to detail.
- Ability to participate in a motivated and dynamic team environment.
- A thorough understanding and appreciation of business drivers.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision with a methodical approach.
