Description
Swim Social Work Team are looking to recruit a Qualified Social Worker in the Youth Offending Team based in Enfield. This is a 3 month, full time position.Your job will be to:
*To supervise and support young people in the community to:
Prevent young people from entering the criminal justice system
Reduce young people offending behaviour
Administer criminal justice processes swiftly and effectively
Work co-operatively with managers and colleagues to ensure service users' needs are met promptly and to an excellent standard
Utilise a specialist knowledge of Youth Justice to support and guide YOS officers
Promote the overall functioning of the team in undertaking complex work, providing advice and support for colleagues and assisting the Team Manager
*Represent the service in court in an exemplary manner
*Assess young people (ASSET) in line with National Standards
*Record case file information correctly in YOIS
You must have the following experience:
*At least 3 years post qualification experience in Social Work
*Minimum of 1 years experience of working as a Social Worker in a Youth Offending Team
You will need the following qualifications:
*Social Work degree / DIPSW
*Full GSCC registration
