Electrical Engineer - NWest - Wind Turbine Projects - £NegSeeking an Electrical Engineer to work in Manchester. Our preferred candidate will have 5 + years of applicable experience in the design and specification of High and medium voltage power distribution systems (ideally 132kv, 220kv, 400KV or above). A successful candidate will have experience with creating and demonstrate good working design knowledge of overhead and underground transmission, substations. Experience with small scale power generation systems is a plus. Applicant must have knowledge and experience with British and International electrical codes and standards. Experience with modelling electrical systems and running power system studies using ETAP PowerStation, PTW SKM or EasyPower is strongly preferred. Excellent team coordination and ability to manage tasks of multiple projects will be required. Applicant will interface directly with internal and external clients, and will demonstrate a proven ability to drive projects to successful completion within budget and schedule constraints. Some travel may be required.
