PROCUREMENT ANALYST/ACCOUNTS ADMINISTRATOR
Our client, a multinational media company with offices in Central London is looking for a Procurement Analyst to work with Accounts Administration in their IT procurement department. They require a bright, energetic self-starter to come on board and take self-initiative on budgeting, purchasing, spending patterns, recharging spends to other business units and pushing back on vendors and other members across the organization to ensure spending is properly tracked against budgets.
Please note that this is a three month initial contract that will likely roll on. Our client is looking to interview this week for this immediate need.
The successful candidate will have proven skills in the following:
- A strong personality, capable of taking self-initiative on the jobsite and run with own responsibilities.
- A background in procurement and purchasing through the whole "life cycle" within an IT & Media environment
- Strong numeracy skills to provide ensure budgets are met across departments
- Proven experience of working with reconciling invoices to purchases
- Knowledge of working with recharging spend to other business units
- A proven capability to work with vendors: showing an understanding of how to place orders and deal with third party vendors throughout the process, including the maintenance cycle of equipment.
- A background of working with stakeholders across the organization, pushing back on a variety of parties to ensure budgets are properly aligned.
