Description
Security Officer required by leading Aerospace and defence company in Butec (Isle of Sky).
This is an initial 6 month contract which is likely to be extended.
Shifts: 2 days on, 2 nights on, 4 days off.
Rate: £6.50
Overtime: weekdays x 1.5
Sundays and bank holidays x2
You will be ensuring that control of entry duties are performed at various locations around the site, booking in visitors and ensuring that only authorised personnel and vehicles are permitted entry and conducting vehicle and baggage checks. Maintaining all manual and computer records. Monitoring CCTV and Alarm systems, carry out foot patrols and building checks, mobile patrol of an operational airfield, pass and permit checks. Site vehicle patrols also require that candidates have a full UK driving license.
Security Officers work 42 hrs per week across a rotating shift pattern of 2 days on, 2 nights on then 4 days off. Overtime rates apply for working over 42 hours and double time for Sundays and Bank Holidays.
Successful candidates will be required to undergo full MOD security clearance prior to starting so please be aware that this process will result in a delay from offer to actually starting.
