My client is a highly successful and global financial organisation. They currently have an opportunity for a Finance operations analyst to join their team on a temp basis.
The role will involve working with commercial customers in the Investment Banking space.
The successful candidate should have:
Working knowledge/experience of
o Cash Management
o FX, Bond, Mutual Fund other Cash Instrument processing
o Corporate Actions
o SWIFT
o Stock Transfer and Settlements UK and Foreign
o Trade Support
o Fails
o Treasury
o Payment knowledge
o Reconciliation
* Excellent Investment Banking/Financial Service Operations experience.
* Ability to communicate and present to at all levels.
* Absorb, analyse and work with detailed information.
* Self starting, hands on team player.
* Pro-actively manage all issues.
* Investigative and problem solving skills.
* Has good follow through, wants to tie up loose ends.
* PC literate has good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Visio, PowerPoint and Word.
* Client facing - there will be extensive contact with colleagues in Glasgow, London and New York.
* Ability to work to strict currency cut off times and to function under pressure
* Highly numerate.
* Understanding of Risk Culture, dealing with high volume, high value transactions
