Austin Fraser are currently recruiting for a senior SMPS design engineer to work on a 3 month rolling contract based in Cambridgeshire.
The role will centre around design of SMPS circuits whilst involving elements of verification and test through liaison with the production team.
Candidates will require experience of designing between a 10W and 1KW range, optimising designs for performance and the modelling/simulation of designs ahead of prototyping. A thorough knowledge of BJT, MOSFET and circuit topologies is a must and experience of working class D amplifier design would be helpful.
