The Team
The EQA team is a specialist independent group concerning itself with engineering quality assurance for the airborne software, electronics and support processes required by external standards DO-178B, DO-254 and ARP4754.
The Role
The EQA engineer will involve:
Planning and ensuring implementation of audits of the systems, electronics and software development processes.
Monitoring the progress of project teams against the project quality plans.
Liaison with and auditing of systems, complex electronics and software suppliers.
Working with systems, electronics and software engine project teams to help continually improve the quality of the product and the efficiency and effectiveness of the processes and procedures.
Provide support for audit by external bodies, for example certification authorities, air framers, ISO9000/TickIT.
Provide weekly metrics and feedback to the EQA Manager.
Provide regular metrics and feedback to project and the Director of Engineering Resources as required.
The Candidate
Relevant Aerospace experience, with the desired standards.
Must be eligible for UK security Clearance
