The department in which the TM1 MI Finance Analyst will sit is responsible for overseeing and developing the production, analysis and development of management and planning financial and other business information with the actual production taking place as much as possible at the offshore Global Centre of Excellence.

Job description:
The Finance Analyst is required to work on projects initiated in Management Reporting department and work closely with the Process Specialists (Virtual Team) who will be Embedded within each team so it will be essential to establish effective working relationships across the teams ( onshore/offshore). To ensure successful delivery of workstream or Project assigned this candidate will be required to adhere to the implementation guidance, best practices and quality assurance standards set forth by project leadership and Sr. Management.

Responsibilities include:

  • Cultivate relationships with key business subject matter experts in order to better understand business functions and tools.
  • Participate in tasks associated to understand Legacy processes and related practises by referring to SOP's, spreadsheet/report, downstream reporting impacts, etc.
  • Increase personal knowledge of assigned business unit and reporting structure in order to work effectively with key contacts.
  • Understand approach guidelines
  • Effective documentation of end to end process and related process flows.
  • Provide regular updates to the Sr. Management regarding progress, issues and obstacles of assigned tasks.
  • Assist with weekly status and team reporting tasks as needed.
  • Work effectively with other team members based

Special requirements:
* Qualified Accountant with a background in Management Accounting or Reporting
* Proven interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels
* Experienced in allocation of resources to maximise the achievement of business objectives given changing priorities.
* Proven ability to analyse and use management and financial information to inform business decisions, balancing growth, cost and risk, use of TM1.
* Ability to make high quality, business aligned and timely decisions.
* Strong track record of delivery.
* Ability to work and deliver under pressure of tight timelines and multiple time zones.
* Strong problem solving skills.
* Proficiency with MS Office tools/working knowledge on TM1
* Experience of working in Finance.
