IC3e are urgently seeking a Senior FPGA Design Engineer on a 4 month initial contract basis. Based in Berkshire this leading consultancy requires detailed knowledge of high end Altera devices such as Stratix IV and Xilinx devices such as Virtex V. Exposure to RRH (Remote Radio Head) systems and hardware is highly desirable with a good understanding of GSM, LTE, CDMA2000, UTRA air interface standards required.
Key Requirements:
1st or 2.1 Electronics, Physics or Computer Science from a Tier 1 group University
Extensive knowledge of communications systems gained in industry
5+ years experience in industry simulating, designing and implementing DSP algorithms for wireless communications systems
Knowledge of LTE, CDMA2000, GSM
Strong VHDL/Verilog
Some MATLAB
Appreciation of targeting signal processing at FPGA or ASIC technology
