As the IDM for this new and exciting mining project, you will be responsible for the infrastructure & technology function of this project. Your management skills will allow you to oversee the design, construction and commissioning of the IT infrastructure portions of this project.
This is a complete greenfield site so experience in this area is absolutely essential!
You'll be responsible for:
- The delivery of the Infrastructure and technology platforms to support all business systems and applications
- The delivery of technology and business systems required to run the projects' operations remotely from Brisbane
- Management of key vendors to deliver the services
A little about the role:
- You'll be managing, monitoring and reporting on the projects against schedule, budget & deliverables including sub-contractors to assist with the scope of works.
- Management of technology vendors, OEM suppliers etc.
- Procurement activities to ensure accurate costings etc.
- Risk Assessments on the design, build & commissioning of the deliverables
- Provide technical support of queries relating to the project
A little about you:
- You'll have 5+ years experience in transforming greenfield sites in an EPCM environment
- Project experience in providing communications to remote sites
- High level of experience of core infrastructure and technology based systems
