Our client has an immediate requirement for skilled Operator Maintainer or experienced Electrical Technician with some background in the Power Generation industry ideally in operation and maintenance of gas turbine power plant. We are looking for strong Electrical trade qualifications and HV Switching Ticket (Dual Trade - Instrumentation qualifications highly desired). Lucrative FIFO roster. Applicants based in Perth or Brisbane will also have the opportunity to be considered for a permanent position beyond the contract period once formal approval for a permanent position have been completed. As this is a contract position first and foremost, the most suitable applicant will be considered regardless of current location.

To be successful in this role you will need proven experience and proficiency in the routine operation and maintenance (including fault finding and problem solving) on HV electrical equipment, advanced control systems and ideally, exposure with industrial or aero derivative gas turbine power plant. The successful candidates will work 11 hour days for a great hourly rate with all accommodation and food provided whilst on site.
