Job description:- Implementation RAN Engineer for Direct Ethernet rollout on the MBNL network
- Essential skills include - RNC, WBTS experience, fault finding and resolving, IP knowledge, WBTS commissioning experience, Netact (TLUI, WN6 BTS Manager)
- Working as part of the Ethernet Migration team as part of the National Ethernet Rollout
- Providing Switch support for current and upcoming IP Iub Trials
- Executing RAN configuration changes for multiple IP based upgrades
- SOG are responsible for migrating 8000 sites to IP from ATM through rigorous rollout
- Providing support from an Operation and Project perspective to develop and maintain Network availability as well as project excellence
- Working closely with internal and external parties
- Assisting Operations to maintain network performance
- Providing switch support for SWC third parties and Ericsson FEs
- Providing technical support to the Implementations delivery manager
Requirements:
- WBTS Experience
- IP Knowledge
- Netact experience ( TLUI, WN6 BTS Manager)
- Ethernet Knowledge
HNC or relevant qualification in telecommunications
