Retail Assistant, Art Gallery x 4.

My client currently requires a Retail Assistant to work in a famous Art Gallery in central Manchester. Previous experience of working in an Art Gallery is highly desirable but not essential.
Key Duties :
The role holder will be an effective member of the retail team, contributing to the achievement of its objectives and targets, and ensuring high standards of customer care.
The role holder will deliver a range of retail activities, including buying, selling, marketing and gathering management information

Key Role Accountabilities:

Provide an efficient, courteous and responsive service to the public and high standards of customer care, ensuring that all enquiries are dealt with courteously and effectively.
Sell products on-site, deal with deliveries and returns, and maintain high standards of presentation in Manchester Art Gallery’s shop.
Provide an efficient and effective administration function to support the retail operation, ensuring full adherence to City Council systems and financial regulations.
Take personal responsibility for keeping up-to-date with current practice in the retail environment and demonstrate a personal commitment to continuous self development and service improvement.
