IT Project Manager with healthcare, non-profit, philanthropy, fundraising, charity experience
- Support Foundation project scoping, chartering process and project setup.
- Plan, schedule and track projects, with related cost estimation and scope control responsibilities.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and communications.
- Continually identify, prioritize and mitigate project risks.
- Manage the project team, driving motivation, collaboration and performance.
- Implement "right-sized" project management processes appropriate to the size and scope of the project.
- Track and communicate project metrics (for example, schedule and budget variances) through the use of status reports, team meetings and other communications appropriate to the intended audience. - Provide oversight and control of any external resources contracted to the project.
- Manage multiple high-level technology projects ensuring that the projects are delivered on schedule, on budget and within Scope
- Interact with stakeholders, users, and vendors to understand project requirements, manage expectations and communicate status.
- Participate in the continuous improvement and implementation of best practices for IS project management using approved project management methodologies, processes and tools.

Minimum Education/Training Required:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in Computer Science, Information Systems or combination of experience and study is desirable. Will consider excellent qualifications in lieu of Degree

Minimum Experience Required:
- At least 3 years direct work experience in an IT project or program management capacity, including all aspects of project development and execution.
- Experience in managing full life cycle information systems projects, large scale systems development and/or information technology initiatives preferably in a Foundation environment.
- Fundraising experience
- Database experience
- Contact Management/Sales Lead experience
- Foundation reporting

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
- Can identify project requirements to the necessary level for planning and scheduling purposes
- Can estimate the project's effort from functional requirements, working with technical domain experts
- Can prioritize trade-offs between on-time, on-scope or on-budget delivery
- Skilled at project scheduling, including via automated tools, and can analyze progress and trade-offs
- Can implement project change process, as appropriate for scope control and change processes
- Can debate effectively for or against project changes, as appropriate
- Sufficient communication and organization skills to implement a formal communications plan
- Capable of project risk assessment, monitoring and mitigation planning
