An excellent opportunity exists for an experienced Solution Architect to work on a global Business Intelligence Program. You will be responsible for the method and processes used to identify, analyse and prioritise the global business requirements, and for designing the Business Intelligence Program products and supporting data architecture.
This position is located in Brisbane, but will require some national and international travel. The majority of the work will be based within the Brisbane office.

- Best practice in systems development and support lifecycle
- Best practice in global Datawarehouse design
- Best practice in data modelling
- Business analysis and Datawarehouse solution design
- Delivery of Datawarehouse solutions
- Optimising performance of Datawarehouse and reporting solutions
- Data modelling techniques
- Systems development lifecycle, especially in regard to business intelligence, Datawarehouse and performance reporting solutions
Accountability
- Deliver the overall BI Solutions Strategy with primary focus on Common Systems Processes
- Develop detailed design of the BI solution architecture
- Provide guidance on strategic reporting
- Design and document the BI method, tools and processes for requirements analysis and solution design
- Define the BI standards and guidelines for definition of metrics, dimensions and reports
- Establish positive stakeholder and customer relationships
- Establish key networks with strategic BI vendors
- Support the approach to benefits realisation following the deployment of BI tools in the business
We are looking for someone with strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills, including the ability to negotiate, consult, and participate in decision-making to influence business decisions.
