Spring IT are recruiting for a FTSE 100 client. They require experienced Supply Chain Managers to join them with experience of managing suppliers and third parties for a minimum of 3-6 months.
Skills/Experience:
- Experienced management of third parties & suppliers
- Strong stakeholder management
- Exceptional planning and performance management
- Strong risk management skills
The Role:
Maximising value through the end-to-end commercial management of key suppliers and associated third party spend, focussing on driving performance and commercial benefit from the supply chain.
To apply appropriate commercial, SRM & category management skills, tools and techniques in order to:
* Drive value for money through the identification of and delivery of opportunity
* Drive performance by optimising the supply chain
* Mitigate and manage supply chain risk by developing and deploying appropriate category strategies
* Actively manage suppliers within sub-category in order to assure achievement of contracted levels of performance and benefit delivery
