Role: Citrix System Administrator
Location: London Central
Daily rate: £300-£500
This position is to provide Citrix operations and general Wintel operational support. The systems administrator will support daily operations and help develop strategies to improve availability
and utilization of Citrix and Wintel environments.
Key Responsibilities
* Deploy applications to internal and customer facing environments.
* Support internal development and production departments.
* Maintain and optimize windows and virtual server performance.
* Maintain predominantly Windows based infrastructure supporting current & future business requirements.
* Ensure enterprise applications perform well.
* Ensure standards to reduce Total Cost of Ownership.
* Utilise monitoring and management tools.
* Resolve issues through root cause analysis.
* Complex problem troubleshooting.
Requirements:
* Microsoft Certified MCSE/MCSA Level
* Citrix Administration and Support Experience, CCA Essential
* Symantec Enterprise Vault Administration
* RSA Security SecurID Administration
* Endpoint Device Control Experience
* Solid Microsoft Windows Server Experience.
* Microsoft Windows Clustering Experience.
* Solid Active Directory, DNS, DHCP Experience
* Microsoft Exchange 2007 and above Experience.
* in-depth knowledge of Windows domains with a proven track record in configuration and support of complex architecture.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to communicate technical solutions to a non-technical audience.
* Ability to follow-up and ensure needs were met and exceeded.
* Able to work over weekends during major rollouts & incidents.
* Able to work in a small team and also independently under pressure.
* Able to communicate effectively with end users, management and external consultants/support engineers
Preferred:
* CCAA for Citrix XenApp 5
* Administration of Symantec Enterprise Vault 9.0
* Microsoft Exchange Server
