We have a great contract position for a large client of ours in the South Denver area. This is a global company with a great history and culture. You will have the opportunity to work in a strong organization with a work hard play hard environment. They are located close to I-25 and E470. The client needs a strong Flex Developer who is open to long term contract work.

Duties:

  • This position is for an experienced Software Engineer with a broad system level background to develop applications in the area of System Management utilizing Rich Internet Applications (RIA).
  • Ability to define and build optimal Rich Media technology solutions and processes for constructing IT and Storage Management Solutions.
  • In-depth knowledge of User Interface Design principles, Human Factors, User-Centered Design Processes, Interaction Design guidelines, Usability Methodologies, industry standards and trends, platform standards, software development process, and prototype/design.
  • Demonstrated experience developing system monitoring and analysis subsystems for enterprise class data center applications. In-depth understanding of distributed applications and Multithreading environments where potentially thousands of resources must be simultaneously monitored.

Skills:

  • Expert with Adobe Flex and Rich Internet Applications (RIA)
  • Strong programming capabilities in: Adobe Flex GUI, WEB Services and Applications, Java, HTML, HTML5 and XML
  • Strong technical skills and technologically savvy
  • Substantial knowledge of UNIX/Linux or Windows environments
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Must have understanding of Object Oriented Design and multi-threaded programming
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to influence others to achieve results
  • Must be able to instruct, guide, negotiate, coordinate, analyze and organize
  • Must interact with others in a team environment and also work alone
  • Must complete tasks on time with and without supervision
  • Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems
  • Ability to communicate information and ideas so others can understand
  • Ability to analyze information and evaluate results
  • Ability to apply general rules or principles to specific problems to produce answers that make sense.

Education:

  • BS or MS in Computer Science or related field
  • 5 - 7 years experience

NO RELOCATION ASSISTANCE WILL BE PROVIDED. Candidates must be able to work in Englewood, CO for the duration of the project and must be able to attend an in-person interview at their own expense, if requested.
