(12AM- 10:AM Wed-Sat)
Must be local.
The night time administrator needs to work with night support personnel to monitor, diagnose and remediate issues with SQL Server processes and supporting systems, including tier 3 escalations.
The night time administrator needs to have the ability to effectively communicate with coworkers, peers, and management through written and verbal means, and must be comfortable using Microsoft office products. The night time administrator needs to have the ability to execute interfaces, scripts, and processes as mandated in the night time run book, and monitor to ensure all operations are properly completed.
This includes carefully following verbal and written instructions and being able to multi task. The night time administrator needs to have the ability to perform troubleshooting of processes as authorized by the Night Crew Team Lead.
Contact the appropriate system administrator if a problem falls outside of authorized troubleshooting steps. The night time administrator needs to have the ability to work well with little to no supervision, and must be able to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as requested by management.
The night time administrator needs to have knowledge of Microsoft and UNIX operating systems, and must be thorough, detail-oriented, and extremely dependable.
2+ years minimum experience in Unix OS
