Purpose of the role:
Must have Scenario Analysis & Operational Risk experience
* Supports operational risk scenario process implementation
* Proactively monitors divisional implementation and application of scenario analysis processes
* Facilitates scenario analysis workshops, where appropriate
* Acts as Operational Risk point of contact for scenario analysis
* Supports the design and implementation of tools, processes and systems aimed at the effective management, execution and continuous improvement of the operational risk processes across the Group
* Analyses, reviews and challenges divisional output data
* Responsible for working with teams within Group Operational Risk to ensure initiatives are fit for purpose to enable the Group to identify, monitor and manage their enterprise risk exposures

Deliverables
* Provides thought leadership, training and education on scenario analysis policy and processes
* Executes activities against project plan
* Contributes to capital model development initiative
* Supports business processes, across multiple business lines, legal entities and/or geographic regions to ensure compliance with existing banking policies and processes, and the external legislative and regulatory environment, for scenario analysis
* Supports Group Operational Risk management and the businesses in the implementation of scenario analysis processes and contributes to the strategic and operational exercises across the business
* Supports assurance and reporting activities ensuring the framework is adequately deployed
*Develops and utilises networks internally and externally, to ensure optimum delivery of business and risk objectives

Experience
* Broad knowledge of the financial services operational landscape across multiple jurisdictions
* Expert knowledge of scenario analysis and broad knowledge of all elements of the operational risk management framework across multiple lines of business/geographies
* Proven track record of practical operational risk management in a complex financial services organisation
* Experience of analysing, assessing and managing operational risks
* Broad understanding of continuous process improvements and project management methods
* Strong communication skills, capable of being modulated to a variety of internal and external audiences
Other significant role requirements
* A good understanding of the bank's structure, products, markets, policies and processes, across the group world wide
* Flexible and adaptable to responsibilities, priorities and working practices - ability to influence virtual teams across regions
* Resolution of complex problems and/or identify alternatives where established procedures may not exist
* Ability to demonstrate decisiveness and sound judgement on a consistent basis
* Demonstrate a pursuit of excellence that will deliver and maintain the best in class standard
* Ability to work to tight deadlines and juggle a large number of conflicting and frequently changing priorities
* Demonstrate commitment to personal development

Technical Knowledge
* Expert knowledge of scenario analysis and broad knowledge of operational risk framework elements, and their application within a global context
* Robust and broad understanding of risk management principals within a relevant financial services firm
* Robust and broad understanding of financial markets
* A recognised professional qualification is desirable
