Develop automation test strategy & framework
6 month contract & CBD location
Are you a test automation specialist who has experience developing the test strategy and frameworks? A leading mining solutions provider requires you to join their product development team to review their current testing environment and make recommendations for the establishment of a new automated framework and toolset.
The application environment is a mix of development languages and they are currently refactoring part of the solution. The new environment demands a more sophisticated testing regime as the existing manual processes will not be adequate for future development. You will work with two other testers who have no automated testing skills but strong domain knowledge. You will assist them in developing their automation skills.To be successful in obtaining the role you will need to have the following:
- At least 8 years experience testing enterprise grade applications with at least 2-3 years experience in test automation with experience in developing strategies & frameworks.
- Experience with test management tools, eg Quality Centre, and test automation tools, eg QTP
- Self starter
- Strong written & verbal communication skills
- Team player with the ability to work independently
- Good stakeholder management skills
A background in software development is highly desirable with exposure to C++/C/Java.
