SAP MM Functional Business Analyst
Manufacturing Business Analyst
Location: Minnetonka, MN
Duration: 1 year +
Travel - 1-2 weeks per month. Most travel to California for the first 6 months.
Excellent communication skills, able to listen to and understand business users who are unfamiliar with SAP.
Solid understanding of procurement for manufacturing
o Driving periodic future requirements for raw materials
o Vendor qualification and selection
o Reading engineering drawings and specifications for procured materials
o Shortages, disruptions, quality problems, changes to manufacturing schedules and how they affect working with suppliers
o Just In Time procurement, and inventory management strategies for raw material
GMP/Medical device manufacturing
Good capability with understanding the relationship of master data to procurement processes
o Material Master
o Vendor master
o Purchasing Info Records
o Source List
o Quota Arrangement
o Quality Info Records
o Batch management
o Serial number management
o Engineering change control
Extensive use of ECC planning (MRP) tools
Data conversions from Legacy systems including open purchase orders
Experienced in outline agreements
Stock Transfer Orders
Configuration for procurement
System change control in a validated environment
Returns to Vendor
Ability and willingness to travel, possibly 50%
