Project Finance System Analyst - Global Pharmaceutical company - Stockley Park

Responsibilities:
Review of current operating procedures and documentation of Standard Operating Procedures for future operating Model.
Preparation of UAT Test scripts and Documentation in QC10 for GL Accounting (Sales, Inventory, VAT Treatment) working closely with Supply Chain, Warehousing and Distribution Teams to ensure all test steps are scripted end to end and all sales/returns/Goods in/write-offs to allow of adequate testing of new processes in line with Accounting Policies and business processes.
Execution of Test scripts for GL Accounting (Sales, Inventory, VAT Treatment) working closely with Supply Chain, Warehousing and Distribution Teams to ensure all processes are tested end to end and all sales/returns/Goods in/write-offs processes in line with Accounting Policies.
Liaise with IT/SC/Warehousing, distribution, IT and Project Team working to communicate progress of testing and work to resolve any issues.
Adhoc assistance of UK Pharmaceutical Forecasting & Planning Team with ongoing activities; Annual Planning activities, support outsourced activities, standard and adhoc reporting and analysis.

Experience/Qualifications:
Required
Finance Qualification- at least AAT or training member of Chartered Accountancy Qualification
Working knowledge P&L and Balance Sheet- of Debits/Credits- Revenue, Inventory, COS.
Experience of Cross- functional working in a Matrix/Project structure.
Good communicator; able to explain technical issues with ease and communicate with Senior Management.

Preferred
Experience of managing and/or operating Financial Controls (Sarbanes- Oxley).
Knowledge of JDE Modules (General Ledger, Sales order processing)
Experience of UAT testing/IQMS/involvement in System Change/Upgrade
Awareness of VAT Treatment and compliance
