Seeking a Model Developer/Analyst. Perform research and analysis of mortgage data. Design, build, validate, and implement analytics tools and processes that drive key servicing decision. Participate in compliance documentation and testing.

Essential Functions:
Participate in the development, validation, deployment, implementation and maintenance of a series of analytics models and processes.
Translate servicing business requirements into rule based technical solutions.
Continually review the teams process and procedures to improve the quality of the analytics materials delivered by the team.
Assist in maintaining documentation on key models and processes.
Design, code and test application rules using rules based software.
Work closely with the Business Intelligence department to ensure that business rules are developed correctly, efficiently in accordance to Seterus rules development methodology and best practices.
Work closely with business units and reporting departments to ensure financial model quality.
Participate in model validation and compliance testing
Provide ad-hoc analytics support to Servicing and Operations department managers and senior management.
Provide mentoring and subject matter expertise to support business analysts and quality assurance analysts who support production and model development.

General Skills & Abilities:
Strong analytical skills along with background in data analysis.
Proven programming skills in T-SQL and familiarity with relational database concepts.
Strong design skills.
Strong modelling skills to represent requirements information in graphical forms that augment textual representations in natural language, including using modelling languages already established in the development organization
Rule-based modelling (BRM) is desired. Experience with ILOG/JRule is preferred.
Investigative, questioning personality and a desire to continuously learn new skills and technologies.
Strong organizational skills to work with the vast array of information gathered during elicitation and analysis
Self motivated; demonstrated self starter
Ability to be flexible and adapt to change
Excellent attention to detail
Demonstrated ability to deliver quality results under tight time constraints.
Customer focused and team player attitude.
Experience in mortgage servicing preferred.
Consulting experience preferred.

Communication Skills:
Ability to effectively communicate with coworkers, peers, and management through written and verbal communication.
Ability to communicate with customers, internal departments, and other outside parties in a professional manner.

Minimum Qualifications:
BS in quantitative finance, computer, engineering, applied math or similar technical degree plus 5 years related experience; or MS in quantitative finance, computer, engineering, applied math or similar technical degree plus 3 years related experience.

Exceptional analytical skills.
