Position Description:

Seeking a Solution Delivery Manager/Lead who is creative, is seasoned, has excellent technical skills, and experience leading cross-group teams to deliver platforms and features. You will feel comfortable operating within a fast-paced environment and shipping quality products in a timely manner. You have great core solution delivery skills - strong customer empathy, ability to get work done across groups, attention to detail, and excellent written and oral communication. In addition, you have demonstrated ability to effectively partner with architects, BSAs/Product Manager(s), Program Manager(s) and development and testing team members to drive end-to-end results from concept to go-live to operations. You will manage the project planning and management for said platforms, including software platform development management as required. The Manager/Lead role will depend on the size, complexity and level of challenge of the program(s) in question.

Responsibilities:
  • Project leading multiple projects within the teams platforms portfolio, including those that are cross-discipline and cross-team.
  • Influence partner teams in making joint decisions that benefit the business while balancing the critical objectives of the program per ICC vision and direction.
  • Work collaboratively with technical leaders and management to drive change. Be an ambassador of TSS ICC.
  • Facilitate communication across the project team, and feed into the program level communication.
  • Analyze, identify and drive top issues to resolution.
  • Gather and define the functional and non-functional scope for features you support (own the prioritization of the product backlog).
  • Develop metrics for measuring cost & benefits of the project, including operationalization.
  • Present the project status and direction at key meetings


Required Skills, Knowledge and Experience:

  • 6+ years of product development and platform operations, preferably in a services based environment.
  • A solid technical background and understanding of software platform infrastructure, preferably in JEE/Integration/SOA areas such as Oracle Fusion, IBM Websphere, Informatica, TIBCO, etc.
  • Strong customer focus, and the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Excellent analytical, problem resolution and decision making skills.
  • Disciplined solution delivery management and cross-group skills.
  • Great cross-team communication skills, including verbal and written communications and presentations.
  • Ability to influence others to obtain your goals, while working around their legitimate priorities.
  • Must work well under pressure and tight deadlines.
  • A passion for clean architecture & healthy enterprise platforms
  • A minimum of a BS degree in Computer Science or related Engineering field.

Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Experience:

  • Broad knowledge of project management practices (PMP preferred)
