We are ideally looking for a UX Researcher who is comfortable drawing design solutions not just written design recommendations. The principle role, however, would be as a Lead User Researcher to join the team to revolutionize the way the world does banking.

Lead all user research activities such as requirements gathering, long-term strategic research planning, executing user research activities, and turning findings into concrete and actionable design recommendations.

Contribute user research leadership in new product brainstorms, early concept exploration, and help teams conceive of innovative and highly delightful new product concepts.

Work seamlessly as a key team member on cross-functional product teams.

Use a wide variety of user research methods such as diary studies, field visits, usability testing, and surveys.

Contribute to user research best practices and internal design toolkits and share across the company in various formats.

Plan and execute original user research in key topic areas to impact multiple business units across the company.

Your Talents:

Ph.D. or Masters Degree in Social Psychology, or an equivalent field in the behavioural sciences or User Experience Design
At least five years of industry experience as a hands-on researcher and designer
Expertise in a broad range of methodologies including: experimental design, ethnographic research, site visits, interviews, diary studies, usability testing, and putting together long-term research plans.
Strong understanding of GUI design concepts and emerging technologies; Experience teaching others in these concepts and methodologies
Attention to metrics - regular testing of your work and the work of others.
Strong track record of taking leadership and ownership of the user research aspects of a product's development
Enjoy working closely with others, respectful of other perspectives
Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
Organized, self-directed, efficient and able to manage complex projects in a timely manner
Ability to quickly create reasonable estimates of schedules, work plans, and deliverables.
Strong judgment skills to suggest solutions to design problems that optimize among customer needs, business constraints, and technological realities.
Takes feedback in a professional manner and provides constructive feedback
Strong project management skills and the ability to function as project leader as well as individual contributor.
