3-6 month contract for a C#., ASP.NET, ADO.NET developer.

Experienced .Net/C# developer to help implement a variety of application solution associated with our generation fleet functions (nuclear/fossil). IN PARTICULAR, THIS DEVELOPER WILL NEED TO HAVE TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE OF AND EXPERIENCE WITH XHTML ADO.NET ASP.NET 3.5 Consuming Web Services, Oracle - PL/SQL and/or SQL DB2 AND TFS - check in/out & branch/merging techniques.

This developer will work under the direction of the Project Manager, and technical lead as part of the .NET team for each assignment. This developer must be able to perform in-depth analysis activities, participate in multi-person efforts and listen and communicate very effectively, not just code from specifications created by somebody else.

This developer will be expected to follow the appropriate IT&T and project software development standards including our CMMI/SDLC standards, change management standards, as well as any standards applicable to our nuclear function.

This developer must be a motivated self-starter who is willing and able to negotiate the varied team structures in order to successfully complete assignments.

Position Duties:
Analyze and understand the requirements for the assigned work
work on multi-person team to develop based on the technical design specifications.
test assigned work to ensure all functional and technical requirements are met.
Work with other members of the team to develop a deployment plan for the assigned work.
Ensure project deliverables are delivered in a timely, quality, and cost effective manner.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field experience. 
5 years of IT application development, database design, and/or system integration experience.
C#, .net, web programming experience
Oracle developer/PL/SQL and/or SQL DB2 experience

Other Qualifications and Experience:
Demonstrated ability to quickly learn business processes & effectively implement technical solutions 
Experience with the full systems IT&T software development life cycle 
Experience with database languages (eg Oracle, DB2, Microsoft SQLServer)
Generation (nuclear/fossil) systems experience
Demonstrated ability to work with complex issues and develop solid solutions
Demonstrated knowledge and use of good IT&T engineering practices
Demonstrated strong teamwork, interpersonal and communication skills

Local candidates preferred. Must be able to work W-2 hourly only, no c2c.
