medical editor/writer, NHS

we are looking for someone with experience of medical writing, and experience of transcribing the content transcribing the content of meetings into a formal/technical paper.

if successful for the position the person will be required to:

  • Attend the publications executive meeting to receive feedback on changes
  • write the update based on the oral and written commentaries provided by the expert commentatators using the template and according to timelines
  • incorporate comments and changes received from the expert commentators review of the drafts and from publication executive
  • Work with the interim Programme Manager to ensure deadlines are met.

Skills required

  • postgraduate qualification in the life sciences, clinical or health subject
  • exposure to the health sector
  • advanced theoretical and practical knowledge of a range of highly specialised publishing-related work procedures and practices
