Description
Infrastructure Architect
The position of Infrastructure Architect is immediately available and will be responsible for systems solution engineering, establishing capacity planning and monitoring performance optimization, as well as establishing daily maintenance tasks and reporting.
This role will work closely with the software development team and requires an ability to interact and coordinate with several development and operation’s teams within IT. Significant emphasis will be placed on enterprise design versus implementation.
Specific experience to include 7 plus years of:
· Installation, integration and support of Microsoft technologies including all versions
of Windows, Windows Server , Active Directory, Group Policies, DNS, SharePoint and Exchange.
· TCP/IP network design, support, security and management.
· HP, Dell, IBM server class hardware ( blade solutions a plus ) and high availability
solutions.
· SAN & NAS knowledge including zoning ,switching, LUN creation and capacity
Planning.
· Design installation, maintenance, and trouble shooting of enterprise Virtualization
software ( VMware ESX/vSphere version 3.5-4.1 )
· Support of Cisco based switches, routers, wireless and security devices.
· Designing, implementing, and testing disaster recovery and business continuity
Plans
· Experience with change management, product release, version control and
configuration management
The successful candidate must have a B.S. degree in Computer Sciences, Information Systems , or related field; Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer and Cisco Certified credentials ( CCNA, CCDA, CCDP ), preferred.
The role is located in Cleveland and client is a multi-billion dollar global company experiencing dynamic growth. Willingness to travel up to 25%, including international travel will be required, as well as flexible working hours to accommodate international business requirements.
