Summary
This is a 14-16 month contract opportunity. The Senior Project Manager will manage a large-scale, $12Million+ Oracle Financial Implementation (project currently at design phase). Will work closely with the Enterprise Program Management Office, as well as the IT Owners of you respective project to guide efforts toward achieving intended business results. Lead large-scale project to successful completion, managing scope, schedule and cost. Analyze risks, establish contingency plans and identify trigger events and responsibility for initiating mitigating action. Provide tracking and reporting on progress to plan, cost and schedule reporting, and change control. Manage relationships with project stakeholders, both within IT and the PMO, as well as external business stakeholders. Manage vendor relations and procurement related to the project requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, PMP certification desired
- Must have experience with implementing Oracle Financials (E-business, iProcurement, and potentially Security/Governance)
- 8+ years of professional IT experience; 5-7+ years project management experience in technical projects/programs.
- Demonstrated experience running multiple large scale ($Million+), complex technology projects or programs
- Needs to be comfortable reporting and working with Executive level as well as managing 3rd party vendors
- Big 4 Consulting experience a big plus
- Knowledge of and competency in PMI-based project management processes, including planning tasks and allocating resources, risk management, issues management, time management, and financial management
