Our client, a leading retail bank, is looking to recruit a Senior Campaign Planning Manager, to work within a loyalty management programme. The role is to own the Retailer Campaign planning for key retailers, and set up those on the campaign systems.

Key Accountabilities

1. Strategic Campaign Planning
Create new and innovative annual strategic campaign plans for the key retailers, based on the retailers' business objectives, and the relationship manager's revenue and retention targets.
Management of campaign budgets and ensure costs are kept to a minimum
Ensure the Barclaycard data asset are fully maximised to identify campaign opportunities for the key retailers.
Create customer targeting framework and agree campaign investment levels for the key retailers.
Agree and sign off the annual campaign plans for the key retailers based on the above three points.
Present at retailer review meetings to encourage retention of retailer to the programme through emphasis on positive impact of campaigns.
Ensure marketing and offers plans are joined up.

2. Campaign Planning & Execution: Weekly; Monthly; Quarterly and Annual process
Accountable for planning, designing and sign off of innovative campaigns for your retailer's.
Ensure Offers have a business case and Campaign KPIs and objectives and a kept inline with agreed budgets.
Own the monthly planning governance to sign off campaigns for all the marketing channels.
Ensure the mix of offers supports the strategic marketing plans and themes.
Ensure the campaign planning and execution processes are 100% adhered to and feed into the governance process
Review the campaign briefs for your retailers, and enter them into the Aprimo system
Drive the implementation of campaigns for your retailers including the XLS Campaign requirements, set up, testing (QA), delivery and completion.
Supporting the broader business RM, Planning, Marketing & Agencies in Campaign design from a technical capability perspective

3. Retailer and Scheme level learnings
Review the offers on a quarterly, half yearly and annual cycles working closely with the relationship managers and data analytics. Specifically on the KPIs and if the campaigns have met their objectives.

4. Efficiency of working across the teams
Ensure all the processes are efficient and adhere to Governance, compliance, contact rules and data privacy procedures.
Work with the wider planning team to have overview of the planning and execution to ensure working effectively and efficiently across the different teams.
Provide support for out of hours systems implementation testing
Maintain training documentation and coordinate XLS training to the right degree for relevant stakeholders

5. Strategic projects
Provide Sales support to the retailer recruitment team as the specialist on campaigns for that retailer
Work on strategic business improvement projects

Person Specification
Extensive experience of campaign planning is essential, either in the Retail or the Banking sector
Expertise in the marketing field needs to be evident
Team leadership and thought leadership
Strong evidence of problem Solving and decision Making.
Extensive experience of demonstrating a Relationship/Partnership approach
Strong communication and influencing skills
Understanding of the Customer and Market perspective
