Unix/Linux Server Engineer:
Small software company located in Alpharetta has an immediate need for a Linux/Unix Engineer for a contract assignment to help the company get back up to speed. Our client just recently closed their data center in New Jersey and is moving everything to Atlanta. Right now, there is equipment everywhere and they need an IT professional to get in and help them get back online 100%.
This is a very casual environment (shorts and t-shirt) and you will have flex hours as needed. This can be a 40 hour a week job or less if you need it to be. They have work budgeted for about 2-3 months.
Responsibilities:
- Primarily assist with getting Sun, HP, and Linux Servers online.
- Handle Networking, Unix skills, Microsoft Exchange.
- Enterprise network - making sure exchange Servers stay up and making sure the network is up and running.
- Small company environment - pick up any additional work along the way as assigned
