Major trading system implementation program seeks an experienced Business Analyst with a technical understanding to work with the internal business team of traders and treasury to ensure the configuration of the software aligns to the business and technical requirements. The role will liaise with the Implementation team and represent the interests of the business.
You will be responsible for:
- Providing support for the implementation of a vendor system & reports that are fit for purpose to support both Crude & Product Trading & Product Operations Groups.
- Supporting package configuration, enhancement design, development and testing of the chosen CTRM solution
- Ensuring the chosen implementation partner (a leading systems integrator) meets the business requirements for the to be' solution
- Development & design of business reports including user acceptance testing
- Monitoring & capturing benefits pre and post implementation of new SCIP tools
- Development of the KPI framework for monitoring & improvement of operational performance
- Ad hoc project work as required
Key deliverables:
- Work with the commercial team and understand company policy on risk management and develop design for systems & reports to meet current & future business needs.
- Contribute to the configuration and enhancement of applications & design of business reports that will meet user needs and improve business performance.
- Design & develop a process for Crude & Product Trading to monitor & capture benefits pre and post implementation..
- Contribute to the development of Supply KPI's to monitor & improve operational performance.
- Work with users to design a process for acceptance testing of systems and reports prior to roll-out in the business.
- Coordinate external systems integration and software vendor resources in delivery of project outcomes
Key skills required:
- CTRM (or ETRM) package configuration experience a must.
- Technical degree in Computer Science or a business related discipline.
- Understanding of refining processes and supply economics desirable.
- Experience working in trading and/or risk management.
- Trade Practices Act compliant and other relevant regulatory legislative knowledge and experience is desirable.
