A top UK bank is implementing a strategic system to manage non-financial collateral across their wholesale business. CMS project is part of an organisation wide Wholesale Risk Programme aiming to deliver cross heritage collateral to be used in Risk Weighted Asset (RWA) calculations. This is a multi-year change project that impacts multiple business units within the organisation.
The bank is seeking an experienced Test Manager who can deliver:
Duties and Responsibilities will include
- Collaborate with all business, operational and technical teams that are impacted by the project to ensure the quality of the delivery conforms to their expectations.
- Define and manage the strategy of testing on the project
- Represent all test activities on the project and be the single point of contact on the project representing test.
- Responsible for overseeing testing across the full breadth of the test life cycle.
- Actively engage and define consolidated test plan
- Engage with business stakeholders and SMEs to deliver UAT
- Entry and exit criteria management, with particular focus on pre-requisites for each test phase to ensure smooth phase transitions
- Chair cross test-phase update sessions as the test life cycle progresses
- Maintain RAID logs, proactively managing and removing blockers to delivery
- Oversee defect management processes, challenging where appropriate to ensure stated scope is adhered to
- Compile and present status reports to the Project/Programme Manager
- Identify areas that require improvements based on defined best practise to ensure testing is effective and efficient
5+ Years experience managing tests within financial services is ESSENTIAL
Skills/Qualifications
Suitable candidates will have
- Good understanding of products and processes in wholesale banking
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements in relation to collateral is preferred but not essential
- 5+ Years experience managing tests within financial services
- Use of Quality Centre
- Use of Microsoft Project
- Must have experience across the different test phases
- Experience working on complex change projects
- Good stakeholder management skills
