Media Operations Manager, 2-3 month contract, London, c£275 per day
This well know TV broadcast channel is looking for an experienced Media Operations Manager to take responsibility for the company's internal team that ingests, stores and prepares broadcast media content ready for transmission. They require someone with strong leadership, motivation and people management skills.
Key Skills Required
- Experience within a multi-channel, fully automated broadcast transmission environment
- Experience within a busy transmission/post-production library
- Experience of staff recruitment and scheduling
- A good operational knowledge of transmission and edit technologies.
- Well-developed interpersonal, communication & leadership skills at all levels within an organisation, across all departments & professional disciplines
- Comfortable in an informal environment where teamwork, accessibility and pragmatism are emphasized
The successful candidate will be responsible for the management of a team of 15 technicians, so strong previous experience of managing people in a broadcast media services environment it required.
