Overview
The successful candidate for Marketing Specialist will be responsible for executing the field marketing program for the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region. The candidate will be working with the line of business and sales to build awareness of Algorithmics solutions and generate leads through field marketing programs targeting financial services companies.

Primary Responsibilities
Develop and execute a field marketing plan in the EMEA marketplace, with a strong focus on demand/lead generation. The field marketing plan will cover integrated lead generation programs - predominately hosting information sessions/executive briefings, participation in tradeshows and conferences, e-mail campaigns, webcasts and sponsorships. Take direct lead from the head of field marketing and work closely with regional solution and sales teams to ensure timely and successful delivery of program. Build and manage the direct mail databaseEvangelize and champion the company at tradeshows, launch events, speaking engagements and customer sitesTrack, measure and report results of marketing programs.Internally communicate regional marketing activities as requiredManage the field marketing budget

Marketing - Tradeshows and Algorithmics Hosted Events
Develop annual field marketing calendar working with solution marketing and sales Work closely with corporate marketing to develop invitations and direct mail campaigns that follow brand guidelines. Assist with EMEA tradeshows - Liaising with conference staff, staff co-ordination, briefing, booth set up & tear down; shipping of collateral and exhibition equipment Manage sales input to create invitation listsCoordinate event logistics, including sourcing venues, accommodations; audio-visual equipment;, registration, on-site support and delegate managementUpdate Salesforce.com with marketing leads, and assigning leads to salesOrder corporate gifts & manage distribution to clients

Qualifications

  • Degree from accredited university in business, marketing or a related discipline
  • Relevant work experience in field marketing, managing events , (Experience within a hi-tech, software or financial services company will be an advantage)  
  • A self-starter capable of thriving in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment that requires a positive do it all' attitude, resourcefulness and the ability to multi-task
  • Strong sales orientation and/or experience
  • Strong interpersonal, presentation and written communication skills
  • Comfortable communicating with senior executives including customers
  • Flexibility concerning working hours to match a busy programme of external events and travel.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
