Title: Sr SQA Engineer - Platforms Automation
Nashua, NH
9 month contract (possibility for full time as well.)
Start Date: ASAP
Client company is seeking a seasoned engineer for their SQA Platform Test Automation Team. The successful candidate will be a motivated, resourceful test engineer with demonstrable skills in developing automated hardware and software tests.
Responsibilities:
* Work in cooperation with other groups to create new automation test cases
* Adapt existing test cases so that they can be automation candidates
* Enhance existing tests and test cases to improve coverage
* Maintain existing code base
* Develop tools or utilities to improve QA testing productivity
Qualifications:
* Must have Perl programming experience in a Linux environment
* Previous storage device testing preferred (RAID, iSCSI, FCoE, etc)
* Code and defect management tools experience
* Ability and willingness to adapt to an existing automation framework and development process
* Knowledge of the software development and continuous improvement processes
* Ability to recognize opportunities for improvement and suggest initiatives
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Must be able to work well independently and as a member of a team
* BSEE/ET or BSCS preferred
