Systems Engineer's x 2 based Stevenage initial 4 months contracts rate to 40ph (7203)
Current SC clearance is needed
Candidates must have worked in a secure environment within the last 12 months.
Essential Qualifications and experience needed by applications:
CCNA Qualified (minimum) Ideally CCNP
Experience of design and implementation of data and voice telecommunications systems.
Experience of implementing telephony voice circuits
Good report writing skills
Desirable:
NMS/FMS experience an advantage
System engineering experience
Crypto experience - use of DCAP, DC2K, mini catapan, Ectocryp etc.
Demonstrable knowledge of ATM, TCP/IP as well as synchronous and asynchronous communications protocols and Nortel Passport and similar switch equipment.
Customer relationship management experience
Previous Experience
Essential: Design and implementation of data and voice systems in a satellite communications organisation
Desirable: Knowledge of UK Military Satellite Communications System, eg Skynet 5
Additional notes- Based at Stevenage but travel possible to Hawthorn, Oakhanger, Colerne overnight and possibly up to a week. For which expenses will be paid in accordance with the Paradigm expense procedure.
Condo training - Theatre of operations Installation possible but not Afghanistan and not front line.
Must have practical hands on install exp plus exposure to the design side.
