Material Development Technician- Contractor
Sirch Incorporated is currently looking for a Material Development Technician for a 6 month contract in Greenville, SC.
Education: minimum A.S. or B.S in chemistry, chemical engineering, or materials science
Experience:
2-5 years experience
Experience with polymer synthesis, formulations and coatings
Experience with electronic materials formulations
Experience with formulating conductive water borne and solvent borne composition is preferred
Experience with formulating nano materials is desirable
Good computer skills- MS Office required. Teamwork and good communication (written and oral) required. Must be able to manage multiple priorities, complex work assignments and work independently.
Duties:
Developing and assisting with development of novel conductive materials and compositions
Translate findings into market applications
Preparation, processing and testing of various materials and formulations
Tracking of experimental products
Documenting data and submitting samples for additional tests
